Formed in 1971/2 by putting together with one management three previously separate manufacturers of refuse and other environmental (waste) vehicles (Eagle Engineering, Yorkshire Vehicles, and part of Dennis Brothers). In 1985 the components of this Dennis subsidiary were put under one roof on the Heathcote Industrial Estate in Warwick, England.

In 1999 Dennis Eagle was sold to a new parent company which from 2007 has been Terberg RosRoca Group.
